Midwest Community in Coshocton offers different opportunities including vocational work and adult day services for those who attend our program. There are many different items that are made at this location such as wood crafts, resin jewelry, candles, cards, wreaths, and holiday décor. The items that are sold in the store are made exclusively by the individuals who are a part of all the Midwest Community locations. Since there is a retail store front, the Individuals have the opportunity to enhance their skills in customer service, money management, and how to maintain a store front.
We take much pride in the work that we do and the products that are sold. We also enjoy volunteering at our local animal shelter and being part of our community by going on different trips. We have opportunities that consist of going to the Columbus Zoo, Cosi, Columbus Clipper’s games, Lake Park, bowling, movies, and many other community events including local festivals.
