Welcome to the Midwest Family. Our mission is to provide person-centered, community-based supports to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Our passion is to bring heart, mind, and soul into every interaction and service we provide.
We maintain open lines of communication with those we serve and their families. We provide opportunities for people to establish nurturing relationships. We strive to be more than a provider of services; we are committed to being a valued asset to our community.
Midwest was founded in 2000 by Joseph B. and Kristine Knetzer to provide superior supports to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Today Midwest provides residential services to Individuals in congregate settings and in their own homes, in licensed homes settings, and, in an intermediate care facility. The organization also provides adult day and vocational services in community centers throughout Ohio. The company also offers quality nursing supports in addition to physical, occupational, and speech therapies. In addition, Midwest provides Behavioral and Mental Health Services to those we serve with the goal of providing a more multifaceted engaged approach to the care of each Individual.
