Where it all began

Midwest Behavioral Health Services

Midwest Behavioral Health is an Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services certified provider of mental health supports. We are devoted to providing innovative mental health programs to people with a dual diagnosis of mental health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities as well as all people across the healthcare spectrum.

At Midwest Behavioral Health we value the connection we make with our clients, so every visit is in-person to enhance communication so we can strive more successfully toward treatment goals.

How does it work?

When you begin services, your licensed clinician will complete an initial assessment. This process is critical in ensuring you achieve your treatment goals.

After the assessment, your clinician will determine a diagnosis and together you will develop an individualized service plan that will guide the course of treatment.

What services does Midwest Behavioral Health provide?

Individual Counseling

During our counseling sessions, our trained professionals use proven techniques and therapies to help you work through needs, while providing a listening and understanding ear.

Therapeutic Behavioral Supports (TBS)

TBS services are an adjunct to counseling services. It involves assisting clients in implementing the skills they have learned in counseling in a manner that will aid in attaining their treatment goals.

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)

CPST services are an adjunct to counseling services. It involves community-based work that is focused on the individual’s ability to succeed in the community, to identify and access needed services and to show improvement in school, work, and family settings.

How are costs paid for?

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and some managed care organizations. Please contact us to verify our affiliation with your Managed Care or Commercial Insurance program.

When a need is identified that cannot be met by our staff, a referral is made to the ADAMHS in the County in which you live, or other community resources as appropriate.
